What a week for team HP and specifically our lovely Emma!

A little back story... I, Heidi, was asked to work with one of our service users 3 years ago when her family were concerned about the amount of money being withdrawn from her bank; they were concerned that she potentially could become a victim of financial abuse. We began supporting the client and since then we have had a fantastic 3 years and her financial situation has improved significantly since we became involved.

Then recently, following de-cluttering drawers in a bedroom, Emma, one of our fabulous team, found £3000 in old bank notes!

Turns out that the money had been hidden some time years before and the location forgotten. The family had searched the house repeatedly from top to bottom but no joy and had concluded the money had sadly disappeared.

So this was amazing news and one of our service user now has £3000 in her bank that had been written off. This is all thanks to one of the HP team.

£3000 is a life changing amount of money for this customer and will allow her to enhance her home with new carpets and she can treat herself to some luxuries. The family are over the moon and as a team we are super proud of Emma and her commitment to Team HP and our clients.
